Public Act 2002-142 requires all duly licensed electricians complete continuing education requirement prior to the expiration of their license on September 30, 2018. 

Meet the 4 hour requirement by signing up now for IBEW & NECA Continuing Education for Licensed Electricians. Classes will be filled on a first come basis. Don’t delay, signup now.

Contact the NECA & IBEW Local 488 JATC office at 203-452-7679 or complete the online registration form for cost and dates. 

This course meets the minimum requirements as set forth by the Commissioner.

Important Note for 2019 Class Requirements:

The State of Connecticut Electrical Examining Board REQUIRES YOU TO BRING A COPY OF THE 2017 NEC and a calculator to class. An electronic copy of the 2017 NEC is ACCEPTABLE  on a LAPTOP or TABLET ONLY.

 CELLPHONES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE for viewing the electronic copy of the NEC.
